RENTED – Houseboat (Spaarnwoude)

This amazing houseboat with a garden big enough to get lost is on the edge of Spaarnwoude nature reserve. The houseboat and the garden offer a lot of privacy. A unique place to live outside and possibly work from home. Yet it is close to the cities of Haarlem and Amsterdam. From the station at 800 m. Away you can take a direct train that runs every 15 minutes and takes you to Amsterdam Central Station or Haarlem in 10 minutes. From the Garden of Eden you can be in the center of the city within 15 minutes. The roads are also quickly accessible. There is enough space to park your car for free in front of the door.

The houseboat has two floors. On the bottom floor we have a big one bedroom with both a double and a single bed separated by a wall. A second bedroom offers a further double bed. From both bedrooms you have a great view over both the garden and the water.

On the top floor is the living room with open kitchen with all necessary appliances, such as a dishwasher, gas stove with oven, refrigerator and freezer. The wooden elements of the houseboat provide a cozy and warm atmosphere.

The living room has French doors that give access to the balcony, a beautiful place to enjoy the view over the water. Two large sofas to relax in front of the TV and or wood stove. There is central heating throughout the houseboat.

Finally, the bathroom has a shower and bath and all amenities.

As you can see, the garden is quite large, with a barbecue and a fire pit, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors as well. In spring and summer you can even dive into the water from your floating terrace next to the houseboat.

You can safely say that you will not find a second houseboat that offers you so much freedom and possibilities to both live, work from home and enjoy what nature has to offer.

Please note that this houseboat consists of two apartments: one is available for rent, and the other is occupied by the owner.
