Rental Period

I am offering my lovely and quiet houseboat for rent for a period of 6 months, from October 1, 2024, to April 1, 2025. This is a golden spot on a peaceful canal in the Staatsliedenbuurt. Soon, the swans and coots will become your friendly neighbors. The Westerpark is located at the end of the street, and the old city center is just a 10-minute walk away.

Houseboat Features

The houseboat is fully furnished and was recently renovated. It is equipped with all modern conveniences. You will have access to the houseboat via my private jetty, leading onto the veranda, which has a swimming ladder. The front door is also located here.

Layout

The houseboat is designed as a studio. Upon entering through a small hallway, you will arrive in the living room/kitchen area, which measures 8×4 meters. The beautiful ice-blue kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator, and electric hob with an extractor fan.

Bathroom & Sleeping Area

As you walk through, you’ll find a spacious toilet and a bathroom on the right side, which are separated from each other. On the left, there is a kitchenette with an oven and a 4-meter-long sliding wardrobe. Opposite the wardrobe is the bed, which measures 1.60 by 2 meters. The ceiling height is 2.35 meters throughout the houseboat, except for the bathroom, where it is 2.05 meters.

Additional Amenities

The modern washing machine, dryer, and central heating system are neatly installed behind a mirrored sliding door in the bathroom. The houseboat has numerous windows and even a skylight that can be opened, providing a wonderfully bright atmosphere. Its efficient layout also provides ample storage space.
